In 2010, Cyprus Turkish Investment Development Agency announced an investment opportunity for the prospective investors to develop a processing, packaging and storage facility for agricultural products on a public land  to be leased on long term basis with fair rent in Gazimağusa-Çayönü. After the evaluation period, Sadık Kılıç Agriculture and Trading Ltd. was the winner investor.
